Based in the county of Bedfordshire in the East of England, the quiet town of Leighton Buzzard is near to the boundary in between Buckinghamshire and Beds, on the banks of the Grand Union Canal, Leighton Buzzard has a population of approximately 37,000 and a story going back to Roman times, at which time the ancient A5 (then known as Watling Street) passed by the town. The Story of Leighton Buzzard: It is believed that there existed settlements in or around what's now named Leighton Buzzard going back to prehistoric times, ancient relics and coinage stumbled on near by show evidence of this.
